I definitely have to save this recipe! I made a few tweaks but it turned out amazing. I added a good splash of whiskey (about 1/8 cup) and another splash of orange juice.

I also skipped the in water boiling step. I made the sauce, added the sliced sweet potatoes & cooked them in it (covered) for about 20-30 minutes. Once they were tender I transferred them to a pan, topped with a whole bag of mini marshmallows, and popped in the oven (uncovered) on 325 for about 15 minutes.

Everybody went back for seconds! Can’t wait to make these again!

This will be the 3rd year, at least, that we’ve had these for Thanksgiving! We have 31 grandchildren and they love it so much that they think it’s dessert! If you ask if they want yams, they’ll say NO, so we just call it dessert! It’s the first thing that goes every year! A++ recipe! A++ video! A++ instructions, presentation, and clarity! So easy to follow! Thank you!
