Delicious! The recipe was easy to cut in half since I only cook for myself. I added about 1/8 c. of dried cranberries. I make this often and really enjoy it.

love your recipe it is so close to my own, I tend to heat it up some though . I use a couple jalapenos and creo seasoning. And I add hard boiled eggs chopped up and placed on top. top with peparika and I have been told to call it before and after Chicken salad. Cause I have the egg and the chicken in it.

I had something similar to this a few days ago at my grandma’s repass and wanted the recipe but couldn’t find the person who made it. Goggle it and came across this recipe and I really think this is it. Even if it isn’t, im still gonna make it and I’ll know I’ll love since everything I’ve ever made from you comes out bomb!

This salad is great!!! I used a seasoning mix called Kickin’ Chicken which is a go to for me. I think the seasoning possibilities are endless. As long as the rest of the steps are followed as is the result will be delicious.

In reply to Annie. Hey there Annie! You can actually make the whole salad the day before. I wouldn't just cook the pasta the day before, because the pasta will still together.

Rosie, thanks for answering my silly question yesterday, but unfortunately, I have another one:
Can I cook the macaroni the day before it will be eaten then travel with it in my car then mix it with all the other ingredients that evening? (I will be in a situation where cooking it after I arrive may be an issue.) Should I do anything special to it so it will travel well so it won’t stick together or become mushy – like maybe add some of the dressing??
……….Or, should I just CHANGE what I’m taking altogether?!? Ha!
